This complete Vietnam tour starts in Hanoi, Vietnam’s charming capital. From here, you’ll roam through the Old Quarters and enjoy Vietnamese coffee while rubbing shoulders with locals. Spend overnight on a luxury vessel viewing the stunning seascapes of Halong Bay before heading to Ninh Binh for a true countryside experience. Explore the historical city of Hoi An and be charmed by Hue before heading down south, to Ho Chi Minh City.

Arrival in Hanoi
Your tour guide will welcome you at Noi Bai airport and will take you on a 45-minute drive to the center of Hanoi to check-in hotel. Free at your leisure to explore the city by yourself. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi City Tour
Today we’ll drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. First stop at Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s Independence on 2 September 1945. We’ll then see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi – The ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, which was built to resemble a Buddhist lotus.
Then, make a stops at Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple. Visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature – The first Imperial school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Later stroll along Hoan Kiem Lake, see the Ngoc Son Temple, Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), walk on The Huc bridge (Red wooden bridge). Enjoy a cyclo trip exploring the 36 streets in the Hanoi old quarter. Enjoy the evening by watching a traditional Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Halong Bay
This Morning you will be transferred to Halong Bay by private car. Upon arrival, board your deluxe traditional wooden boat and enjoy welcome drinks on board.
After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the breathtaking Halong bay visiting its grottos and caves. Take the opportunity to dive off the boat and go swimming in the deep emerald waters before relaxing on your sun deck.
Watch the sunset while enjoying dinner on board with freshly caught seafood. Overnight on cruise.
Halong – Hanoi – Ninh Binh
Enjoy the morning tea and coffee. Visit Sung Sot grotto and a nearby fishing village. Enjoy nice brunch while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier.
Transfer to Hanoi airport and flight to Ninhbinh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Ninh Binh – Hanoi – Hue
Explore the old citadel and palace. We will cycle from our hotel via tranquil rural villages and paddy fields to Hoa Lu, where the Temples of King Dinh and King Le lie, the rulers of Vietnam during the 10th century. Return to Hoa Lu for a special boat trip, cruising through long karst grottoes in Tam Coc, and enjoying the scenery.
Midway through the boat trip, we stop and take a short walk to Thai Vi temple, dedicated to the Tran Dynasty. Afternoon, drive back to Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue. Overnight at the Hue
Recognized by UNESCO as the 1st Cultural World Heritage for Vietnam, Hue is renowned for the old royal architectural works and the most traditional Vietnamese lifestyle. We will discover the charm of the city from the Royal Citadel, Forbidden City, Hue Royal Museum and Dong Ba bustling market. After lunch in a Garden-housed restaurant in “Hue” style, tour the Thien Mu pagoda and visit the Tombs of King Minh Mang and Tu Duc – two best-preserved monuments of the Nguyen Emperors since early 19th and early 20th centuries. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Hue – Danang – Hoi An
Following breakfast and check-out from hotel, we will depart from Hue, passing Danang with stops to see the Cham Museum, Marble Mt., enjoy the landscape of Hai Van (the “Ocean Cloudy Mountain Pass”) and Lang Co Beach before reaching Hoi An after midday.
This afternoon is for Hoi An ancient town – when walking over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, Pagodas, and stroll around the market located by Thu Bon river. Overnight in Hoi An.
Hoi An- My Son Sanctuary
After breakfast, we will depart from Hoi An to My Son, where you can discover the hidden treasure of the Cham culture that once brightly developed in the area of present Central Vietnam. Thanks to the beauty and secrets of building the Cham Towers hereby, My Son had been also designated by UNESCO as one of the five World Heritages in Vietnam. Back to Hoi An for lunch.
Afternoon we will visit the Hoi An Cultural Museum and hang around the ancient town before taking a small boat on Thu Bon river down to the sea. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.
Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh
This morning take your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh city. You will be welcomed at the Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to the hotel to check in.
Lunch will be at your own arrangement for more flexibility before we start the city tour at the Reunification Palace. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions.
Visit landmarks such as colonial-styled Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Jade Emperor Pagoda before returning to District 1 to enjoy ice-cream from “Bach Dang”. Finally, check out the night market at Ben Thanh. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnels
Begin your tour at Tay Ninh, the center of Caodaism, a local sect of Buddhism. At noon, join the daily solemn ceremony at the temple of Cao Dai called Tay Ninh Holy See.
On the way back to Sai Gon, we can stop to visit Cu Chi tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments of the Vietnam War.
Crawl through the tunnels like the Vietnamese guerrillas, who spent most of their time living inside this system during the wartime. Return to Sai Gon late afternoon. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Can Tho
Head South to My Tho and Ben Tre, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products. Stop en route to visit Dong Tam Snake farm and Vinh Trang pagoda.
Cruise between canals into gardens and rural houses, where a lot of families produce coconut candy, feed bees for honey, or plant juicy fruit. Stop to visit some families and their small factories.
Lunch en route. Disembark and transfer to Can Tho, check-in upon arrival. You are free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.
Can Tho- Ho Chi Minh City
A highlight of trips to the Mekong Delta is its floating market, whose activities are most exciting in the early morning. So we can wake up early today to arrive in Cai Rang floating market to enjoy the daily life of Mekong people, who come to the markets on the rivers every day with lots of fruits, foodstuff, and other consumer goods. Visit the Farms in Can Tho on the way back to Sai Gon. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Ho Chi Minh Departure
Enjoy your free time to relax and go shopping in Sai Gon, the biggest commercial center of Vietnam. Our driver will take you to the Tan Son Nhat airport for the departure flight to your home. End of tour.
