Arrival in Hanoi
Our driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. After refreshment, take a city tour, visit the most famous places in Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum & Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Lao Cai – Sapa Town Highlights
Upon arrival at 6:00am, there will be a vehicle waiting to transfer you to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km and only takes around 1.5 hours. As you travel to Sapa enjoy the scenic views of the Hoang Lien mountains terraced rice fields and make as many stops as you wish.
Upon arrival to Sapa, check into Victoria hotel and have breakfast at the Ta Van Restaurant of Victoria Hotel. Shortly after your guide will show you around Sapa Town. Then visit the market where ethnic minority people sell handmade traditional costumes, artifacts and local products such as vegetables, bamboo shoots, and medicinal herbs. Later you’ll walk uphill to the peak of Ham Rong Mountain and visit the beautiful orchard garden and museum. The evening is set free at your own leisure. You have dinner at the Victoria hotel or your guide can book you a table in a restaurant in town.
Ta Phin Commune – Silver Waterfall – Tram Ton pass
Morning, visit the Ta Phin Commune which is set in a large valley surrounded by vast mountains covered by pine trees and forest. Enjoy an easy walk to the village path around the valley and see the traditionally built houses on the mountain slopes. From high elevation see a great view of the valley stretching under your feet.
At Ta Phin you can get the chance to meet and interact with the Red Zao and Black H’ mong ethnic people. The two ethnic groups live closely together, but you’ll learn how different they are from one another. At noon return to the hotel to have lunch.
Afternoon meet your guide and driver for a leisure trip. The drive uphill offers the most spectaculars scenery of the Fansipan Mountain. Only just 1km from town, see rose flower farms and chayote grow on bamboo frames covering a vast area. We’ll stop at Silver waterfall before reaching the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. It is possibly one of the best points to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Fansipan mountain range.
On the way back, you’ll return to Ta Phin Village where you’ll have fun learning to sew at the Red Dao Sewing Workshop. The rest of the evening is free at your own leisure.
Visit Muong Hoa Valley – Hanoi
The Muong Hoa Valley is most well known for it’s out of this world scenery and is the largest farmland for rice growing in Sapa.
Today you will spend the whole day exploring the Muong Hoa. Enjoy a drive along the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley viewing magnificent landscape composed of high mountains, deep valleys, waterfalls and rice paddies. After leaving the main road, enjoy a nice walk downhill and along Muong Hoa River, through terraced fields passing some hamlets of the H’Mong people as Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai…, watching locals at work.
